I studied piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. After graduation, I held several jobs as a teacher and organized the occasional performance. Teaching has always been my passion, especially the challenge of keeping younger children motivated and receptive throughout class.

In addition, I began composing, writing many smaller pieces for the piano, gradually increasing the structures and encompassing several distinct musical styles. All my published work is for the piano, although I have written several orchestral pieces in a movie score / soundtrack style for personal enjoyment.

Many of my pieces are for the beginning and intermediate piano student, all written in classical style. The more complex compositions, larger in scope and dimension, are more suited for advanced players.

I am still following my main occupation of teaching children, but at the same time continue to invest much time in composition of new pieces.
